OLLIE’S
CELEBRATES 10 YEARS IN THE VILLAGES.
The Villages, Florida- On Tuesday- December 14, 2010, Ollie’s Frozen
Custard will be in their corner of Spanish Plaines Shopping Center ,(next to
Blockbuster Video), for 10 years. To celebrate this event, they
will be offering single cones and dishes of their delicious frozen treat for
$1.00 and $1.00 cent off all Regular Sundaes plus a Nathan’s Hotdog & Coke for $1.99 (No
Coupons needed) The flavors of the day will be “Turtle Sundae" along
with Vanilla, Chocolate and Sugar Free Vanilla.
Ollie’s was one of
the first Frozen Custard stores in Florida and was the brainchild of Village
resident, Bill Walters. Ollie’s is the oldest
Ice Cream store in The Villages and make all of it’s frozen custard FRESH each
morning,

Ollie’s Frozen Custard uses a custard mix from St. Louis
, MO. to make their fresh frozen treat. Their monthly calendar, available at
the store or on the internet at
http://www.OlliesUSA.com, lists all the flavors they make each month.
They also serve vanilla, chocolate and a sugar-free flavor everyday. On Mondays
they offer sugar-free chocolate, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday it’s a sugar-free flavor of the day,
and the rest of the week is sugar-free vanilla.
When you enter the
store, you will be impressed by the Menu Wall that lists all they offer. Do you
remember ice cream sodas? Ollie’s makes them the “old fashion” way. Vanilla
custard, club soda, your choice of flavoring, topped with Ollie’s own (fresh
made) whipped cream and a cherry.
Along with cones,
dishes, shakes, floats, and “create your own sundaes”, they make Six different
“Signature Sundaes”; Banana Split, Strawberry Volcano, Turtle Sundae, Hot
Brownie; called “The Schwartz”, The Villager Sundae and their Newest “The 4
Berry Lovers”. They also have pies made fresh with their custard. During the
holidays they specialize in Pumpkin and Sugar-free Pumpkin pies. All year they
have several different pies available for sale. You will want to visit the store
for a full description of these fabulous sundaes and pies.
Ollie’s has done over
700+ ice cream socials (From 25-500 People) for clubs and civic groups in The
Villages area. Ollie’s is open 362 days a year with business hours from Noon
to 10pm daily.
